Psychiatry Locums

There is a growing need for Psychiatry locum doctors right across Australia, including rural and remote however more and more Metro services such as Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Perth require the help of locum Psychiatrists.

Many Psychiatrists are choosing to work part-time in their private practice as well as 0.2 to 0.8 FTE in a locum public hospital role. There is a lot of flexibility and a variety of options out there, it’s important to work with a knowledgeable consultant who understands the locum landscape.

We have seen an increase in registrars wanting to take a break from the training program, choosing to pick up Psychiatry locum work from the new clinical year in February, recommencing training in August.  Doctors use this an opportunity to freshen up, enjoy the flexibility that locuming provides whilst travelling and working in some stunning Australian locations.
