Expected rates for GP locums
GP’s can expect rates of $1200 to $3000pd
Locum rates are dependent on the level of experience, the location, and the length of contract.
Did you know?
An overseas trained GP who is within their 10 year moratorium can still work as a locum!
The GP can be granted a 19AB exemption for the practice and locum there for up to 6 months, after 6 months you are able to commence locum services in another practice.
