Many locum Psychiatrists are choosing to work part-time in their private practice as well as 0.2 to 0.8 FTE in a locum public hospital role. There is a lot of flexibility and a variety of options out there, it’s important to work with a knowledgeable consultant who understands the locum doctor landscape.

I have done locum work for many years and worked with a few companies. My preference for ATMOS is based on the character of Reece Percy. Some of his values that have impressed me, are reflected in statements like; “ my real work starts when you start the locum. To make sure conditions are as promised and to help redress them if they are not”. Some agencies seem to forget about you as soon as the contract is signed. Also there is a recognition that honesty and standards are important in job performance and satisfaction; both for medical staff but also ATMOS staff. I have been pleasantly surprised by his level of efficiency and organization and look forward to many more locums with ATMOS.
